Reinkarnasjon i et Bahaiperspektiv.

But let us return to our subject. In the Divine Scriptures and Holy Books "return" is spoken of, but the ignorant have not understood the meaning, and those who believed in reincarnation have made conjectures on the subject. For what the divine Prophets meant by "return" is not the return of the essence, but that of the qualities; it is not the return of the Manifestation, but that of the perfections. In the Gospel it says that John, the son of Zacharias, is Elias. These words do not mean the return of the rational soul and personality of Elias in the body of John, but rather that the perfections and qualities of Elias were manifested and appeared in John.

(Abdu'l-Baha, Some Answered Questions, p. 286)

A lamp shone in this room last night, and when tonight another lamp shines, we say the light of last night is again shining. Water flows from a fountain; then it ceases; and when it begins to flow a second time, we say this water is the same water flowing again; or we say this light is identical with the former light. It is the same with the spring of last year, when blossoms, flowers and sweet-scented herbs bloomed, and delicious fruits were brought forth; next year we say that those delicious fruits have come back, and those blossoms, flowers and blooms have returned and come again. This does not mean that exactly the same particles composing the flowers of last year have, after decomposition, been again combined and have then come back and returned. On the contrary, the meaning is that the delicacy, freshness, delicious perfume and wonderful  289  color of the flowers of last year are visible and apparent in exactly the same manner in the flowers of this year. Briefly, this expression refers only to the resemblance and likeness which exist between the former and latter flowers. The "return" which is mentioned in the Divine Scriptures is this: it is fully explained by the Supreme Pen [Bahaullah] in the Kitáb-i-Íqán. Refer to it, so that you may be informed of the truth of the divine mysteries.

Have faith, not cling in insecurity as a victim.

You must have faith enough to not cling desperately for a healing answer. When you are clinging you occupy the room in which the spirit will take place.
And you must not expect anything either. When the desperate person gives up, the spirit will come by to visit. You do not have to have much faith, a little breath is enough, but that little breath of spirit is necessary to make the holy spirit connect with you. Hm, that may be the reason why people who didn't have a faith in their childhood have difficulties coming in contact with the spirit; they don't have any idea what it feels like!

Anyway; A question to God is like a swirling spiral who has to come through to Him, penetrate Him- throughout the universe- and it catches the spirit with its "arms". The word pentacles comes to my mind, I have no idea what it means. Jesus said to me today that you receive the answer to your question when you let go of expecting it to come. It's true. That is always what happens to me. I get it the minute I let go of the question. I guess the question is free to reach God that way.

Enlightenment is not a dead end.

Enlightenment is not a dead end. I do believe, though, that the enlightenment can be everlasting no matter what (wise things) you do. If we have tasted total freedom and love, what is stopping us from getting to the point of permanent freedom? One thing, that includes a lot of things, is to make every part of us to want this as much as our hearts does. Another is the fear of death. The third is the fear of what other people might do out of envy and hatred. The last two are linked together in a way.

The first might take a long time to attain.(I am speaking for my self now. I don't know how long time the saints had to use on this issue.) The second doesn't have to take so long if one is lucky enough to feel pain enough to see death as a relief. The third is a tricky one. I think the fear of others' envy is just a misplacement. One can happily share the love to anyone no matter what. One who can take part of the light/love/ freedom you radiate will not hate you but enjoy the love. The one who thinks that this love is something he can have and to hold have misunderstood.

One may think there is something one self must do to achieve enlightenment. Really there isn't, because "I" am the one who must die. And to be able to let go of this "I" I have to find myself free and unidentified with it.And from that view I see that "I" is just an illusion. Then I can let go of it as I would do with a worn wool jacket on a mid-summers day.

So all parts of us must want to come to the same goal to reach it.The child in me and the grown-up part both seek God but for different reasons! The child seek love to be free ,and the grown-up wants to give love, unfortunately, I first thought, but when I asked: how is it possible to come to the goal, then? Jesus said/showed me that the child could believe in the love in others!
That way the child can feel free in the love, and the grown up could give by believing people want to receive the freedom/love. Is it so that the child is seeking love to mirror it? By that I mean; do the child want to show the creation/it self in it's pure form? And the grown-up wants to give the child the love the child can show it self in? The love is like light, like a mirror one can see ones true self in,or what?
