Unholy sex

When I'm selfless in Paradise and filled up with divine perfection I am truly happy and don't want to go back to myself and the world where I know I will commit sin, knowingly and unknowingly, caught up in the laws of the world.

I don't know how to cope living outside Paradise with a body and ego without committing sin: Without sex, my substitute for Gods love and without men, my substitute for the Lord. I don't know how to live according to His laws in a world where nothing (relationships) last for long and people want immediate gratification. Where hardly anyone truly believe in God and marriage.

I asked God: Can something (sex) be sinful if it doesn't hurt anyone? Then I saw a small white church. Heard its bells ringing loud and clear and understood: Marriage is holy. It is the law of God. Sin is committed when we break Gods law. Sex outside marriage is therefor not holy.

In my experience when I have sex within a relationship and it is love involved I don't feel bad afterwards. When I have had sex without love God let me see and feel dirt in the light. (I do hope the dirt I see is cleansed in the light instead of merely being showed to me.:)

I wonder if God think that any type of sex, with or without love, within the holy marriage is holy and not worse than sex with love outside a marriage. I think we all know the answer to my question. No need to ask God about it. Sex without love in a marriage is not more holy than sex with love outside a marriage. A holy relationship doesn't automatically make everything within that relationship holy. God blesses a relationship based on love. If on the contrary a relationship is based on sex it isn't holy and He wont bless it. Not because sex isnt holy, but sex is not holy when people first and foremost wants sex, not love, from each other. Sex is holy, but can be misused for the sake of pleasure and by that degraded.

So an important thing to ask oneself is: Why do I want to be with this person? Do I really want to live and love or am I basically just interested in the persons sexuality? If there is little attraction to the mind and heart then we better look somewhere else. It is our motives that determines the outcome.

I dont agree that sex is intended for procreation only, but that doesnt mean I think it is meant only for pleasure instead. No. We are more than animals that has an instinct that tells us to make babies and we are more than the flesh that wants to take delight in eartly pleasures. Sex can be a latter to heaven as a meditation to connect with God, a means to share love and by having sex for a long time enliven a deeper feeling of love. A way to experience unity with another person and the loss of ego and the expansion of consciousness. Because sex has so much potensial we should'nt misuse it. Without love sex is degraded and empty. Sex is about unity. The unity God wants us to experience - the love that trancends all differences - is possible to experience through the sex act.

To say sex is something we need like food is to degrade it to a physical matter! I am sad to see this belief among religious people. Of course sex is holy. It is so precious it have to be kept within the holy marriage. Two people who are naked together can be totally naked, meaning on every level, vulnerable, show who they are for real behind the masks, and still be loved. Sex can be a ladder to experience God, so no,  it is not like eating. If it wasn't sacred why would God say to gay and single people that they should avoid sex? Sex unifies people and God is all about unity, Bahais knows that very well. Unity is divine. If people have sex as if they are just a body then I get why they don't think it is anything special.

Some say sex is just a physical act so it can not be holy. It isn't even done in heaven. The physical aspect of it is just the frame of it all. People can have sex for different reasons. Some wants to just get rid of tension, some like the pleasure of it, some like the romantic aspect, some like that it is a way to show love and some use it as a form of meditation to connect with the divine. When two people are vulnerable together all kinds of emotions can emerge and be taken care of by the partner. Sex can be all about love and unity on every level. It is not just a physical act.

How can one distinguish between answers from God and superstition?

I can see it with my inner eye where information comes from. If it comes from above (higher intelligence), from below (negative garbage) or from the level of my own head (my own thoughts). Also I feel the difference. If it is thoughts from myself it has no effect on me. If it is help from God I feel Im touched. I feel it thoughout my whole being. Thirdly what comes from God is simple and you just know its true. If you have doubts you should trust your gut that it is not from God.

I expect God to answer me quickly so He does. I dont understand why people think they have to wait. Do they think God is too busy, they must wait in line?

How can the human race unite?

When we care to get to know and appreciate differences + trust that we have what is essential in common then we can unite. Then we elevate above our differences into the level of unity/all embracing love. Now we are not united because we can not relate to differences and distance ourselves. We must replace prejudice with curiosity and trust that all religions are from the same God + that evil is just a lack of love.

Is the world an illusion?

The world and the body seem so real and vibrant because we can sense it, but if you sense the energy in your body more than your physical body the energy is all you sense and the material seem to be non existent. I have experienced this happen in different ways. I have also come to realize that God is the highest reality. What that means may be that all that we sense is also real, in a sense, but not as real and vibrant as God, the source of life itself. The physical is an illusion compared to something with more life/higher vibration.

What is more important and identifies you: Your action in the world or your motives? People judge you from what they see, your actions, and take a guess on what your motives is based on their own set of motives, but only you and God knows your true motives. So what is real? What appears to be true or what you know is true inside of you?

Dating

This image of illustrator Angel Boligan makes me think she is using those nails to scratch on the surface on any of those guys she finds kissable to see if he has put some light under there and date him to see if he is one who will care.

How to let go of emotional pain by Lance Kelly

 Letting Go

People are often advised to ‘just let go’ of any emotional pain or anxiety as though it’s something that can be done without first confronting the source of negativity. If it were a case of simply letting go, then everyone would be free and able to detach at will from the demands of self. It’s the emotional pain of the past that refuses to let go.
The past is an effect of intelligence operating below the speed of light. Unless the substance of the past is continually let go in the moment through being present in the senses, the flow of life becomes impeded and creates emotional blockages in the psyche. The past obviously has no place in the present. This substantive energy needs to be continually eliminated through being conscious in the body; otherwise the emotional content hardens as attached matter to the flesh.
The flesh is not the sensory appearance of the body but the inner sensation which resonates to the frequency of love. Love is the swiftest intelligence which is beyond the speed of light and enters existence as the speed of now. What happens in most people is that love degenerates to emotion, which is the slowest frequency of intelligence that’s possible for life to exist. Love is not an emotion since all emotion is an effect of the past.
The past is kept emotionally alive through ruminating on the events and circumstances of yesterday or the last moment. This creates a dull vibration of self, often registered as a dark and depressive shadow. The impulse is then to find something to elevate the negative feelings through some form of stimulation. Sexual excitement, thinking about good times in the past or projecting numerous possible scenarios in the future all speed up the dull vibration to a faster rate. Although this temporally lifts the cloud of depression, once the excitement peaks, the person plunges back to a low and the cycle repeats itself.
There’s no chance of letting go when the emotional force of self is rampant. Once activated in the mind and compounded by the thinking process, the energy must complete its cycle. The best that can be done in these times is to contain the inner pressure and the impulse to react. The challenges of life must come, but increasing stillness and sensitivity to the inner state creates a spiritual centre of purified space.
The key to it all is that whatever I the individual acknowledge then returns as the circumstances and quality of the life. To effectively let go of the past as any emotional suffering is to practise letting go in the good times, not the bad. Acknowledge pain and it returns, only magnified with the psychic force of other unresolved emotions in the body. Acknowledge with gratitude any good in the life, such as being able to perceive the wonder of the sensory world, and something is retained as consciousness which is accessible at any time. This is the spiritual essence of the being, which transforms the past into the presence of love.
