How can the human race unite?

When we care to get to know and appreciate differences + trust that we have what is essential in common then we can unite. Then we elevate above our differences into the level of unity/all embracing love. Now we are not united because we can not relate to differences and distance ourselves. We must replace prejudice with curiosity and trust that all religions are from the same God + that evil is just a lack of love.

Is the world an illusion?

The world and the body seem so real and vibrant because we can sense it, but if you sense the energy in your body more than your physical body the energy is all you sense and the material seem to be non existent. I have experienced this happen in different ways. I have also come to realize that God is the highest reality. What that means may be that all that we sense is also real, in a sense, but not as real and vibrant as God, the source of life itself. The physical is an illusion compared to something with more life/higher vibration.

What is more important and identifies you: Your action in the world or your motives? People judge you from what they see, your actions, and take a guess on what your motives is based on their own set of motives, but only you and God knows your true motives. So what is real? What appears to be true or what you know is true inside of you?

Dating

This image of illustrator Angel Boligan makes me think she is using those nails to scratch on the surface on any of those guys she finds kissable to see if he has put some light under there and date him to see if he is one who will care.

How to let go of emotional pain by Lance Kelly

 Letting Go

People are often advised to ‘just let go’ of any emotional pain or anxiety as though it’s something that can be done without first confronting the source of negativity. If it were a case of simply letting go, then everyone would be free and able to detach at will from the demands of self. It’s the emotional pain of the past that refuses to let go.
The past is an effect of intelligence operating below the speed of light. Unless the substance of the past is continually let go in the moment through being present in the senses, the flow of life becomes impeded and creates emotional blockages in the psyche. The past obviously has no place in the present. This substantive energy needs to be continually eliminated through being conscious in the body; otherwise the emotional content hardens as attached matter to the flesh.
The flesh is not the sensory appearance of the body but the inner sensation which resonates to the frequency of love. Love is the swiftest intelligence which is beyond the speed of light and enters existence as the speed of now. What happens in most people is that love degenerates to emotion, which is the slowest frequency of intelligence that’s possible for life to exist. Love is not an emotion since all emotion is an effect of the past.
The past is kept emotionally alive through ruminating on the events and circumstances of yesterday or the last moment. This creates a dull vibration of self, often registered as a dark and depressive shadow. The impulse is then to find something to elevate the negative feelings through some form of stimulation. Sexual excitement, thinking about good times in the past or projecting numerous possible scenarios in the future all speed up the dull vibration to a faster rate. Although this temporally lifts the cloud of depression, once the excitement peaks, the person plunges back to a low and the cycle repeats itself.
There’s no chance of letting go when the emotional force of self is rampant. Once activated in the mind and compounded by the thinking process, the energy must complete its cycle. The best that can be done in these times is to contain the inner pressure and the impulse to react. The challenges of life must come, but increasing stillness and sensitivity to the inner state creates a spiritual centre of purified space.
The key to it all is that whatever I the individual acknowledge then returns as the circumstances and quality of the life. To effectively let go of the past as any emotional suffering is to practise letting go in the good times, not the bad. Acknowledge pain and it returns, only magnified with the psychic force of other unresolved emotions in the body. Acknowledge with gratitude any good in the life, such as being able to perceive the wonder of the sensory world, and something is retained as consciousness which is accessible at any time. This is the spiritual essence of the being, which transforms the past into the presence of love.

Gods forgiveness is for everyone.

““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I don't think God even consider forgiving anyone. Forgiveness is His nature, so He forgives everyone and everything before the sin is even made. We are told to forgive the same sin again and again and be quick about it. God must be able to do even better than that.

God doesn't discriminate between us sinners. We shouldn't either. This quote is not about discriminating Christians from non-Christians, but humans from God. God has the power, we are the powerless. Only God can clear our consciousness.

We can only receive forgiveness if we trust that we can be forgiven. This quote confirms that we can. If Christians say it is only meant for Christians they have missed the point and distorted the meaning. No person is more superior than another in Gods eyes. Everyone deserves a second chance and a third, forth and so on.

A lot more can be said about this quote of course, because it is a very powerful sentence, but I just wanted to say this now because it annoys me when some Christians think God forgives them because they believe in Jesus (and those who are not calling themselves Christians will not be forgiven) and not simply because they trust they will be forgiven.

To perish means to die. Die spiritually. If we are burdoned with sin we feel disconnected to God our source of life, love, wisdom and happiness; We feel dead. To perish doesn't mean that some people will not have eternal life, literally! It means that if you are burdoned with sin your life are limited, you will not feel free, one with God and eternity.

The stages of the soul by Abdu’l-Bahá

The stages of the soul by Abdu’l-Bahá

a. The commanding soul—the soul that commands to evil — is preoccupied with the trivialities of this world, and is in fatuated with evil and ephemeral desires.

b. The blaming soul — which becomes aware of the depths of its degradation and of its remoteness from its true goal. It awakes to a perception of its state, is filled with regret and blames itself for the depths of perversity and error to which it has sunk.

c. The inspired soul —as it rises from its lowly condition, the soul comes to understand those things that kept it abased and those thing which will lead to its elevation. It becomes averse to those things that perish and to incline towards those things that endure. It is termed the inspired soul for it is inspired as to that which on the one hand leads to depravation and on the other to righteousness.

d. The assured soul — this is the stage at which the soul is in remembrance of its Lord and sees the signs of God in the creation. As a result it is assured in its faith, its turmoil and unrest is calmed, it has quenched its thirst, soothed its torment; it has changed its darkness to light and unloaded its burdens.

e. The accepting soul — reaches a station of submission and contentment, leaving behind its searching and neediness. It entrusts its affairs to God and is content with whatever God may decree for it. This is a happiness that is not followed by sadness. There remains no will, no rest , no motion, no destiny nor any fate except in God.

f. The accepted soul — in this state all- encompassing blessings and mercy reach it. Insofar as it has  risen and left behind its passions and accepted the decree of its Lord, it becomes accepted in the sight of God, and in its state of nothingness, it is approved by its Creator.

g. The perfect soul — here it is characterized by divine perfections and comprised of godly attributes. It thus becomes the focal point of inspiration and the dawning-place for the Divine effulgences.

h. The soul of the Kingdom of God (Mal ak út)— here the soul confirms in its reality the profession of Divine Unity and establishes in its essence the sign of detachment. It attains to everlasting life and eternal living. It takes pleasure from delights the like of which no eye has seen nor any ear heard .

i. The soul of the Realm of Divine Command (Jab arút)— this is a stati on far ab ove the unde rs tand ing of the minds of men, for this stati on is created out of the elements of power, authority, sovereignty, omnipotence, and freedom and nothing that has limitations or pluralities has any resemblance to it. Here the soul becomes aware of the secrets of hidden and invisible realities. This is the ultimate goal in the world of creation .
